Funeral Thursday for Brandon Grage.
Brandon Lee Grage, 19, of Centerville, S.D., died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at Scandia Lutheran Church, Centerville, S.D. Rev. Mark Gustafson officiated. Burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery.
Brandon was born Sept. 1, 1974 in Sioux City, the son of David and Janet (Rhode) Grage. He attended nursery school in Sioux City and began kindergarten in Hinton and attended school there until his family moved to Centerville in December 1983. He was active in FFA, four years of football and track, two years of basketball, swing choir and an all-state chorus alternate.
After graduation from Centerville High School in 1993 he attended S.E. V-Tech in Sioux Falls where he was a student in the auto body program. He was currently employed at Courley’s Pro Audio in Sioux Falls and enjoyed spending his free time at Bill’s Auto Body in Canton.
He was a member of the Federated United Church of Christ in Centerville.
Surviving are his parents; a brother Jeremy of Centerville; two sisters, Melanie and Kayleen of Centerville; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Grage of Marcus and Kathryn Sassaman of Coleridge, Nebr.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Justin, and his grandfather, David (Gene) Sassaman. – Remsen Bell-Enterprise, Sept. 1, 1994.
