Roy Vannorsdel

Roy Vannorsdel, 92, Nevada, formerly of Kingsley, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1977, in a nursing home at Nevada.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Church of the Brethren at Kingsley. Rev. Marvin Hulse will officiate. Burial will be in Kingsley cemetery , with the Dickison- Michaelson Funeral home in charge.

Mr. Vannorsdel was born March 18, 1885, near Kingsley. He married Emma Ray Feb. 5, 1914, at Kingsley. They farmed in the Kingsley community, and moved to Nevada eight years ago. He was a member of the Church of of Brethren.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Everett of Nevada; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Sylvia) Yingst of Plymouth, Ind., and Mrs. Vesta Van Tilbury of Nevada; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
