KINGSLEY— Art Lindgren, 70, of Kingsley died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1993, at his residence of an apparent heart attack.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley with the Rev. Michael Gruhn officiating. Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Earnest-Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Mr. Lindgren was born Feb. 28, 1923,, at Washta, the son of Nels and Ida (Johnson) Lindgren. He lived in the Washta and Kingsley area as a child and attended rural school near Kingsley. He married Ardith Hobbs Dec. 17, 1949, in Sioux City. He served in the U.S. Army and worked many years for Page Silo Co. of Kingsley. He then farmed for many years, retiring in 1991. Mr. Lindgren was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son and his wife, Mark and Laura of Sioux City; a daughter, Marsha and her husband, Mike Harman of Kingsley; two brothers and their wives, John and Elna and Harry and Betty,
all of Kingsley; four sisters, Florence Henry of Parkers Prairie, Minn., Ann and her husband, Charles Taylor of Sioux City, Gladys Petersen of Moville and Maxine and her husband, Monte Lukkin of Sioux City; a sister-in- law, Maxine Lindgren of Kingsley; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert; and two sisters, Vera Plendl and Ruby Apollo.
