Services set Tuesday for R. E. Trafford

Robert E. Trafford. 91, longtime Le Mars area resident, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon (Dec. 9, 1972) at his home at 515 Eighth St. SW. Le Mars.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Luedtke funeral home with Rev. Joseph Oregon officiating.

Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Luedtke funeral home

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p m. Monday.

Mr. Trafford was born Oct. 29, 1881, at Whitefish. Wis. the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Nichols) Trafford.

He married Jessie Donney June 12,1902, at Plainview. Neb. Mrs. Trafford died in July 1943.

Mr. Trafford was longtime yard master at Lampert Lumber Co in Le Mars and then worked for Wells dairy until his retirement.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Cleyonne Gustafson of Minneapolis, Minn. and a son, Vance Trafford of Englewood, Calif.; a grandson and three great-grandchildren.
