ARTHUR VONDRAK 1900 - 1962
Arthur Vondrak, 61, former Sioux Cityan and long time contract trucker for The Journal, died Tuesday at Grass Valley, Calif., after a long illness.
Mr. Vondrak retired due to ill health and left Sioux City about two years ago. While here he delivered newspapers by truck to carrier boys throughout the city.
He was born October 23, 1900.
Survivors include the widow, Elsie; a son Arthur, jr., of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Monty Montagne of Grass Valley; a sister, Mrs. Adolph Kovarna of Hinton, Ia., two brothers, Clarence of Hinton and John of California, and six grandchildren.
The body will be returned to Sioux City for services.
