ELMER OHLENDORF DIES IN LOS ANGELES.
Funeral services for Elmer (Ole) Ohlendorf of Los Angeles, former longtime Remsen businessman, will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen. Rev. Alfred Christensen will officiate and burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery. Mr. Ohlendorf died Wednesday in Los Angeles. He had lived in California for several years. Funeral services for Elmer C. (Ole) Ohlendorf, 72, Los Angeles, were held Monday at Christ Lutheran church in Remsen. Burial was in Remsen City cemetery.
Mr. Ohlendorf died Wednesday, March 6, in Los Angeles.
He was born March 7, 1895, at Marcus and lived in Remsen until moving to California 12 years ago. He owned and managed a retail grocery business in Remsen for many years.
Survivors are his wife, Wilma of Los Angeles; a step-son, Bob Schultz of Los Angeles; and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Hohbach and Mrs. Bertha Lindeman both living in California and Mrs. Allison Harnack of Remsen. – family news clipping
