MR. FRANCIS FERGUSON

Francis J. Ferguson, 84, formerly of route 1, Sioux City, died Saturday night at Westwood Convalescent and Rest home, Sioux City, after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Anderson-Perasso funeral home. Rev. Floyd E. Cripps, pastor of Wesley United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ted Mulder, Guy Gettins, Hans Peterson, Dean Mussleman, Frank Barkley and Francis Bennett.

Mr. Ferguson was born Aug. 17,1887, at Kingsley. He married the former Eva Rusk Feb. 28, 1911, at Sioux City. Mr. Ferguson farmed for more than 40 years and later did carpenter work until retiring in 1966.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Basil (Vera) Newman of Sioux City, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

The body was taken to the Anderson-Perasso funeral home, Sioux City.
