Paul Erick Lippke, husband of Tilda Zimmerman, was born July 9, 1900, in Stanton Township, rural Merrill, Iowa. He was the son of Julius and Augusta Meier Lippke. Erick received his education at the Stanton Township country school. On August 22, 1923, Erick was united in marriage to Tilda Zimmerman at Merrill, Iowa. To this union four sons were born: James Alan Lippke, Donald Eugene Lippke, Richard Lee Lippke, and Bruce Robert Lippke. The Lippke’s farmed in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota. They operated an implement business in South Dakota and was a Real Estate dealer after moving to Wisconsin. Erick passed away June 9, 1987, at the hospital in Waukeshaw, Wisconsin. Interment was at the cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
