WAS BORN NEAR MARCUS
Young Wife Only Nineteen Years of Age Is Taken By Death—Had Lived Near Merrill For the Past Six or Seven Years
Mrs. Zimmerman, the wife of Frank Zimmerman, of Stanton township, died on Saturday night in child birth. Her early death is deplored by her young husband and a large circle of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Zimmerman, was only nineteen years of age and was born on a farm near Marcus, January 22, 1895. Her maiden name was Ina Revena and she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Donlin and was one of a family of eight children. She died at her home southeast of Merrill on August 29, 1914. Her short life was spent in Cherokee and Plymouth counties with the exception of two years when the family lived on a farm near Barnsville, Minn. For the past six years she had lived in the vicinity of Merrill and received her education in the rural schools. She was a faithful attendant at church and Sunday school and was a devout follower of the teachings of Christ.
Last fall she was united in marriage with Benjamin Franklin Zimmerman and they had begun life on a farm together with every prospect, of a long and happy life.
Her early death is a shock to her family and friends, more especially at this time when love and marriage were crowned with the advent of a baby in the home.
Mrs. Zimmermann is survived by her husband, an infant daughter, her mother, Mrs. Margaret Donlin, and her brothers and sisters who are Mrs.Nellie Kebrberg, of Merrill, Mrs. Mary B. Anderson, living in Minnesota, Joseph T. William M., Myra E., Minna and Silvina at home with their mother.
The funeral will be held at the residence at 1:30 this afternoon, followed by services at the Stanton United Evangelical church. Rev. B.F. Zuehl, the pastor,and Rev. A. J. Barkley, of the Merrill Methodist church, will officiate at the services. The interment will be made in the Stanton cemetery.

Ina Revena Donlin, wife of B. Frank Zimmerman, was born near Marcus, Iowa, January 22, 1895. She was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Donlin. On February 14, 1914, Ina was united in marriage to Frank Zimmerman at Merrill, Ia. They resided in Plymouth Township on a farm. To this union one daughter was born, Doris Ina (Mrs. John H.) Johnson. Mrs. Zimmerman passed away August 29, 1914, complications in child birth, having reached the age of 19 years. A quiet funeral service was held at the Stanton United Evangelical Church. Rev. B. F. Zuehl, the pastor, and Rev. A. J. Barinsky, of the Merrill Methodist church, officiated. Interment was made at the Stanton Township Cemetery.
