Martin Nagel, one of the old residents of Plymouth county, died at his home in Remsen township, on Saturday evening, age 64 years. Mr. Nagel had been sick for nearly a year with stomach and heart trouble. He leaves a wife and family. He has resided in Remsen township for the past sixteen years and was highly respected in the community. The funeral was held on Monday at the Lutheran church in Remsen. – Le Mars Sentinel, Oct 16, 1903, page 4.
