Mrs. Lizzie Neuenschwander, 91, longtime Remsen and area resident died Thursday (Sept. 8, 1977) at Heritage House, Orange City, after an illness of several years.
She was born in Benton county, Iowa Oct. 13, 1885, and had farmed north of Remsen. She moved into Remsen in 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1932.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at the Moeller funeral home in Remsen.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church in Remsen and burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery.
Survivors are four sons, Erwin, Elmer and Glen, all of Remsen, and Robert of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Mohning, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Marie Van Wechel, Vinton. There are 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
