Otto H. Osterbuhr

Otto H. Osterbuhr, 69, of Akron, died of apparent heart attack Monday at an Akron repair shop.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick Catholic Church. The Rev. Stanley Stone officiated and burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. A prayer service as at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Schroeder Funeral Home.

Osterbuhr was born October 3, 1907, at Le Mars. He married Irene Braun December 2, 1936, at Akron. He worked for the Iowa State Highway Commission 21 years and retired in December of 1973.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Marlin of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. William (Mary) Hamilton of Merrill; eight grandchildren; a brother, Elmer, of Hawarden and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Popken of Hudson, South Dakota, and Mrs. Ann Pefferman of Akron.
