Mrs. Anna M. Therens who lived at 201 1st Ave. N.W. with her daughter, Mrs Elizabeth Foley, passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital at the advanced age of 92 years. She had been sick for 5 weeks, and died on January 13, 1959.

Anna Fierisen was born November 18, 1866 in Luxembourg. She came to this vicinity in 1889. Her parents were Peter and Margaret Fierisen. She was united in marriage with Nic Therens on January 26, 1891 in Le Mars. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a. m. Friday, January 16 at St. Joseph's Catholic church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.D. Fisch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Willigen-Luedtke funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p. m. Thursday afternoon. The parish rosary will be recited after 1 p. m. Thursday.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Foley of Le Mars; two grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Joseph's church.

Deceased was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers and two grandchildren.
