Note: Some family members spell the last name Husmann. I have included both spellings in the surname list for family research.

Mrs. H. Husman

Mrs Helen A. Husman of Akron died Friday, November 3 at her, home in Akron after a long sickness.

Mrs Husman was born Helen M. Allen cr. April 28, 1911 at Alcester, South Dakota. She was married to Fred Husman on October 24, 1928 at Elk Point.

Funeral cervices were held on November 7 at 2 p.m. at the First Church of Christ in Akron. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Rev. Richard Brown officiated. The Lewison funeral home had charge of arrangements.

Survivals include the widower, Fred; a daughter Mrs Jean Bioleszynask of Minneapolis; her mother, Mrs Maude Allen of Sioux City; three brothers Ray and Clifford of Sioux City and Orrin of Sergeant Bluff; five sisters. Mrs Rose Carter of Sergeant Bluffs; Mrs Marie Swechi of Chicago; Mrs Dorothy Duffy of Sioux City; Mrs Opal Trobaugh of Westfield and Mrs Leone Dixon of Moville and 2 grandchildren.

The couple, had farmed near Akron until 1941 when they moved to town.
