Florence A. Williams, 81, of Sioux City died Monday, March 6, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Paul-Louis Arts officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Akron, Iowa. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 6:30 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Florence was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Akron, Iowa, the daughter of Ambrose and Clara (Buryanek) Feauto. She attended schools in Akron and Westfield, Iowa.

She married Harry Williams in 1945. The couple moved to Sioux City in the late 1960s. Harry died Feb. 23, 1969, in Charles City, Iowa. She worked as a waitress at various restaurants in Sioux City including 25 years at the Paddock in South Sioux City.

She was a member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany. She enjoyed reading, cooking, painting and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by her family.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Larry and Leslie Williams of Sioux City; three brothers, Vincent Feauto of Akron, Iowa, Orville Feauto and his wife, Marlene of Hawarden, Iowa, and Kenneth Feauto and his wife, Elaine of Fort Dodge, Iowa; a sister and her husband, Mary Lou and Harlan Hoeck of Hawarden, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Jean Feauto of Sioux City; five grandchildren and their spouses, Lorie Stoneberger, Sherry and John Klemish, Cindy and Jeff Harms, Scott and Jenny Williams and Shelly Williams; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and Ambrose; her husband, Harry Williams; four brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, Ronald and Barney Feauto; a sister, Dorothy Feauto-Carman; and a sister-in-law, Rose Feauto.

Pallbearers will be Scott Williams, Jeff Harms, Eric Bishop, Charles Carman, John Klemish and Don Feauto.

Memorials may be made in her name to Pioneer Bank, 202 First Street, Sergeant Bluff, IA. 51054 in care of Sherry Klemish.
