Marcella C. Pick
Marcella Pick, 68, Sergeant Bluff, la. died Monday (August 1, 1988) in a Sioux City hospital.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic church in Salix, la. The Rev. Raymond P. Welling officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery under direction of the Larkin Morningside funeral home in Sioux City.
Mrs. Pick, the former Marcella C. Gale, was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Akron, la., where she attended school. She had lived in Sioux City and the last 34 years at Sergeant Bluff. She married LeRoy Pick Oct. 16, 1951, in Sioux City. She was employed at the Wincharger Corp. in Sioux City and the school lunch program in Sergeant Bluff. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church in Salix and the church circle. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 752 in Sergeant Bluff.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Edward of Sioux City and Conrad of Minot, N.D.; a daughter Donna Pick of Sergeant Bluff; two brothers, Matt and Orville Gale, both of Akron; four sister, Agnes Gale and Mrs. Madeline Burke, both of Sioux City; Mrs. Gertie DeMascioof El Monte, Calif., and Mrs. Eileen Gebeau of Reno, Nev., and four grandchildren, Alison and Adam Pick, and Lynn and Jenni Pick.
