Note: The correct spelling is Welch. I will put both spellings in the surname box for anyone doing family research in old newspapers.

Edward Welsh, one of Westfield’s substantial farmers living three miles east of town, died Friday and was buried Tuesday in the Akron Catholic Cemetery.

The services were held by Rev. Casey in the Westfield Church.

He leaves a wife and a large family of children.

Edward, of Blunt, S. D., William, near home, Agnes a student in the High school. The rest are at home.
