Albert H. Klave, 71, 1705 Goldie Ave., Sioux City, died Wednesday (Oct. 11, 1978) at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 at the Riverside Lutheran church. The Rev. Fred Peters officiated and burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Ireton under direction of the Berkemier funeral home.
Mr. Klave was born June 4, 1907 in Union county, S.D. and lived in the Hawarden and Akron, Iowa areas where he farmed until 1949 when he moved to Sioux City. He was employed for a number of years by the Curtis Sash and Door Co. and later by the Sioux City Parks and Recreation department, retiring in 1972.
Mr. Klave was a veteran of World War 11 and was a member of Riverside Lutheran church.
Survivors include two brothers, Rudy and Arthur, both of Akron; six sisters, Mrs. Milton (Lena) Edmonds, Mrs. John (Sophia) Van Wyhe and Mrs. Louise Short of Ire ton, and Mrs. Truman (Esther) Watkins of Hawarden, Mrs. Onno (Mary) Johnson of Le Mars, and Mrs. Ann Marshall of Sioux City.
