MRS. DORA BENECKE DIES AT SIOUX FALLS

Relatives here report the death June 3 of Mrs. Dora Benecke, 68, of Sioux Falls. Funeral was at Faith Lutheran church there.

Born Oct. 30, 1896. in Joplin, Mo., she was reared at Hawarden and was married in 1919 at Le Mars to Fred Benecke, who died in 1962. The couple lived at Luverne, Minn., before going to Sioux Falls in 1945. He was employed at John Morrell and Co.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Bert Flaten and Mrs. George Olson, both of Sioux Falls; two sons, Charles, Sioux Falls, and Gerald, St. Paul Park, Minn.; 13 grandchildren: a sister and four brothers.

Mrs. Benecke was the former Dora Steinfadt, daughter of the late Joe Steinfadt of Plymouth County and a siser of Herman Steinfadt and niece of Mrs. Dora Bonnema of Le Mars.
