Ray Bainbridge, 84, of Kingsley, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 1982), in a Sioux City hospital.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist church. Rev. H. Wallace Kinzler officiated. Burial was in the Kingsley cemetery. A prayer service was at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Michaelson funeral home.
Mr. Bainbridge was born Nov. 21, 1897, in rural Kingsley. He married Emma Woods April 5,1920, at Kingsley. He lived most of his life in the Kingsley and Moville area, retiring in 1961. He had served as director of the county schools and was a member of the United Methodist church.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Vernon of Kingsley and Dorris of Le Mars; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Beulah) Spink of Kingsley; two brothers, John of Le Mars, and Joe of Smithland; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Anna) Hagen and Mrs. Everett (Etta) Woods, both of Kingsley; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
