Note: She is called Gladys Pearl McKibbin in her husband’s John’s obituary. That I believe is her maiden name. Sherman was her father’s middle name. I think she was married to a Fred Harrison and is buried beside her only child Beverly Harrison. If anyone out there has any other information please let us know.
Mrs. John Bainbridge
Mrs. John Bainbridge, 79. of Kingsley died Sunday (Nov. 15, 1981) at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist church in Kingsley. Rev. Gordon Watson will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln township cemetery, rural Hinton, under direction of the Michaelson funeral home of Kingsley.
Mrs. Bainbridge, the former Gladys Pearl Sherman was born Sept. 10, 1902, in Lincoln Township, Plymouth County.
She was married May 27, 1948, in Kingsley. She was a lifelong Plymouth County resident and was a member of the United Methodist church.
Survivors are her husband, a step daughter, Mrs. Albert (Maxine) Lindgren of Kingsley; three stepsons. Harland and Vance, both of Kingsley, and Russell of Resell, N.M.; 10 step grandchildren;- and 20 step great grandchildren.
