Carl Bainbridge, K-P board member, dead at 68.

Funeral services for Carl W. Bainbridge, 68, Kingsley school board member, were 10:30 a.m. Monday in United Methodist church. Kingsley. Rev. Howard H. Marty and Rev. Norman Meyer officiated and burial was in Kingsley cemetery, with the Michaelson funeral home in charge.

Mr. Bainbridge died Friday, Sept. 15, 1972, at a Sioux City hospital. A memorial to the cancer fund has been established.

Mr. Bainbridge had been a member of the school board nine years, and had driven a school bus 21 years. He and his parents operated the Kingsley Dairy 30 years, and he operated a farm near Kingsley since 1941. He retired in 1969.

He was born May 10, 1904, in Union township near Kingsley. He married Charlotte Graham in Sioux City Dec. 28. 1922.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Delmar, the superintendent of Kingsley schools, and David, also of Kingsley; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Joyce) Waite of Paullina and Mrs. Dick (Colleen) Forbes of Simsbury, Conn.; a brother, Lloyd of Pierson: two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Murray and Mrs. George Roepke, both of Kingsley, and 10 grandchildren.
