Mrs. Bainbridge Taken By Death
Wife Of Well Known Kingsley Farmer
Mrs. Anna Bainbridge, wife of John Bainbridge, prominent farmer of Elkhorn township, died in the hospital in Sioux City, Monday.
Anna Rowe was born March 3, 1868, near Shellsburg, Wis., where she grew up and was married to John Bainbridge March 12, 1888. Following their marriage they settled on a farm near Kingsley.
She leaves to mourn her death John Bainbridge, four sons, George, William, John A. and Raymond, of Kingsley, Joseph, of Oto and four daughters, Mrs. Harvey Bowman, Mrs. Clarence Klingensmith, Mrs. Everett Woods and Mrs. Roy Hagan of Kingsley and a sister, Mrs. Mary Boscoe of Washta, Iowa.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in the First Methodist
church in Kingsley, Rev. Marion Metcalfe officiating, and interment made in the cemetery in Kingsley.Mrs. Bainbridge was widely known in the community and esteemed by all who knew her. She was active in community and church work and helpful in affairs pertaining to public welfare.
