Arthur H. Hasenbank, 87 of Akron, Iowa, died Saturday, March, 7 at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Hasenbank was born July 18, 1899 to Christ and Wiebke Scherner Hasenbank, in Remsen, Iowa. He married Anna Marie Willer February 27, 1924, in Le Mars. The couple farmed for 50 years near Akron before moving to Akron in 1974. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church, Akron.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth of Conyers, Ga.; a brother, Carl of Akron; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John and a sister, Dora Huettmann.
