Rose C. Feauto, 64, of Akron, sister of Mrs. Ida (Paul) Goergen of Granville, passed away Tuesday, October 22, at the Akron Care Center after a long illness.

Services were held Friday at 10:30 a. m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron with Monsignor Gerald Lyon officiating.

Mrs. Feauto was born April 9, 1927, in rural Akron, the daughter of Chris and Meta (Mangelsen) Beeck, She attended country school near Akron and Akron High School. She also attended Samuelson Beauty School in Sioux City. She operated Rose's Beauty Shop in Akron and Kingsley for 15 years. On September 4,1947, she married Vincent Feauto at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Akron. The couple farmed at Akron and retired to Emmetsburg in 1976, where she was a district manager for Sarah Conventry Jewelry. They moved to Berthoud, CO in 1985, where they managed a senior citizens complex and returned to Akron in 1988.

Mrs. Feauto was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, James, Donald, Kevin, and Robert, and their wives; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida (Paul) Goergen, of Granville, Mrs. Elsie (Alvin "Shorty") Frerichs and Mrs. Ella (Edwin) Frerichs, both of Akron, and a brother, Paul Beeck and his wife, Esther, of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Lillian Albert, and two brothers, Edward and Chris, Jr.
