Calvin Deviney, who resided at Okerstrorp apartments most of his life, passed away, enroute to Sacred Heart hospital from the county home where he made his home in recent weeks Death came on January 2, 1963 and he was 79 years of age. His parents were the late William Deviney and Katherine Morris.

Mr Deviney, was a lifelong Plymouth county resident have been in business here in the 1920 when he and his late Brother, Rueben, operated. the transfer line in LeMars. Later Mr Deviney took employment at the Moore Lumber Company and for the Plymouth Mills until his retirement.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 2 p.m. At Luken's Funeral home with burial in the City Memorial cemetery under direction of. the Luken funeral home. Rev G. O. Thompson will officiate at last rites.

Survivors include two sons John of Sioux City; Robert of Topeka, Kansas, one daughter, Mrs Ray Brown of South Sioux City and a Sister Mrs Hazel Eyres of LeMars
