John H. Dreeszen, Native of Westfield, Dies at Sioux City
John H. Dreeszen, 51, a well known Sioux city lodge man died Wednesday evening Jan. 2, at a hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday afternoon at his home in Sioux City.
Mr. Dreeszen was employed as steward at the Moose lodge home. He attended Morningside college’s conservatory of music.
He was born Aug. 12, 1905, at Westfield. he came to Sioux City in 1926.
Survivors are the widow, Verna; a daughter, Barbie, at home; a sister, Mrs. Fern Embick, Concord, Cal.; and five brothers, Bryan, Arch and Merlin, all of Westfield, and Thomas and Roy, both of Akron.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Heaton-Westcott funeral home at Sioux City. Burial was at Memorial park Cemetery.
