DEATH COMES TO WESTFIELD MAN

Rites Will Be Held Friday Afternoon For H F. Dreeszen

H. F. Dreeszen, a resident of Westfield vicinity for fifty-three years, passed away at the Akron Hospital yesterday morning, September 2, after an extended illness, aged 77 years, 1 month and 7 days.

Mr. Dreeszen was born July 26, 1876, at Wilton Junction, Iowa. He married Harriet Riardon October 28, 1895, at Rock Branch. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary October 28, 1945. He farmed five years at -Correctionville, and then moved to a farm near Westfield. They moved to town; at Westfield in 1945. Mr. Dreeszen was a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include his wife, six sons, Bryan, Arch and Merlin, of Westfield, Tom and Roy, of Akron, John, and a daughter, Mrs. Russell Embick, of Sioux City. He is also survived by a brother, Ferdinand, of Beaverton, Ore., 16 grandchildren and.; 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernice.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p. m. in the Congregational church at Westfield. Interment in Logan Park cemetery, Sioux City.
