Sioux City, Iowa- Norma Jean Feauto, 76, of Sioux City, went to be with the Lord on Holy Saturday, April 15, 2006 at the St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.
Graveside services will be held at the St. Joseph's Cemetery at Akron, Iowa on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Richard Zenk officiating. The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden is in charge of arrangements.Norma Jean Feauto was born on March 4, 1930 in Quincy, Illinois, to Ralph and Pearl Hill. She attended country school. Norma Jean married the love of her life, Ron Feauto on October 6, 1961 and they made their first home in Audubon, Iowa.
Norma Jean traveled the country with her husband, Nashville recording artist Ron Feauto, for more than thirty years, singing and playing country music everywhere they went. In the seventies, Norma Jean starred as the Old Home Bread girl, "Mavis" with Ron singing on the commercial. They enjoyed their life together and reminded the rest of us to "always be good to one another."
Norma Jean is survived by her brother, Milton Hill of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Feauto on June 21, 2002; her twin brother, Norman in November of 2002; three sisters; and her parents. Norma Jean touched many lives and was loved by her family and friends. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
