BOHLKEN RITES ARE HELD LAST FRIDAY

Preston Farmer Had Been Lifelong Resident Of Plymouth County

In these columns last week mention was made of the tragic death of Albert Bohlken, a well known farmer residing about ten miles northeast of here. He was 45 years of age.

Albert Bohlken, son of John and Dora Bohlken, was born January 5, 1905, in Preston township, Plymouth county, Iowa where he had spent practically his entire life. On February 24, 1927 he was united in marriage with Sena Konken at Coleridge, Nebr. Two children were born to this union.

Left to mourn his demise are the widow, Lena (Sena); two sons, Donald and LaVerle; his mother, Mrs. Dora Bohlken, of LeMars; a brother Ben of Salem, S.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Towns of Salem; Mrs. Emma Brooks of Summit, S.D., and Miss Lillian Bohlken, of LeMars. Preceding him in death were his father, who died two and a half years ago; a twin brother, in infancy, and a brother, Fred at the age of fifteen.

Funeral services were held last Friday at 2:00 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran church at Craig, the church in which he was baptized and confirmed. Rev. W. K. Schmidt officiated. Burial was in the Craig cemetery.
