Note his mother's maiden name is either Lovell or Lovel.

Charley "Pete" Mount

Charley M. "Pete" Mount, 77, Sioux City, died Sunday (June 21, 1987) at his home.

Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Christy Morningside funeral home, Sioux City. Rev. Ralph Wallin of St. Luke Lutheran church officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1973.

Mr. Mount was born Aug. 5, 1909, in Moreland, Okla., and moved to Westfield and Akron, Iowa, area as an infant. He moved to Sioux City in 1945. For more than 25 years, he was employed with Concrete Products Co., retiring in 1973. Mr. Mount was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Gary (Linda) McCall of Sioux City, Mrs. John (Lois) Warriner of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Michael (Lori) Knowles of Lincoln, Neb.; a son, Dennis of Lincoln; two brothers, John of Chokio, Minn., and Manuel of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Clementine Hummel of Richland, S.D., and Mrs. Bertha Green of Sioux City, and two grandchildren.
