Note: Her mother's maiden name was Lower.

Mrs. Lloyd Lawrence, 56, rural Ireton died Sunday (Feb. 6, 1983), in a Hawarden Hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Dow Funeral Home in Ireton. Rev. Peter Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7 :30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Lawrence, the former Darlene Jammerthal; was born March 7, 1926, at Akron. She married Lloyd Lawrence Jan. 9, 1946, at Elk Point. They lived in Elk Point until moving to the Ireton area 31
years ago.

Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Randall (Marcia) Brunken of Sioux City; one son, Dean of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Jammerthal of Akron; six sisters, Mrs. Ed (Lorraine) Kiewel, Mrs.
Clyde (Imogene) McKee and Lola Prothero, all of Akron, Mrs. James (Lois Ann) Arens of Le Mars, Mrs. Darwin (Shirley) Day of Luverne, Minn. and Mrs. Jack (Elaine) Strong of Sioux City; one brother, Harold Jr. of Akron and five grandchildren.
