Word was received by relatives here last Friday, stating that Peter Haack of George, Ia., a son of August Haack, of Remsen, died Friday from influenza, followed by pneumonia. He was 24 years of age and is survived by his widow and two small children. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, March 16, 1920, page 3.
The body of Peter Haack, a son of August Haack, who died at Larchwood, Ia., last spring, was disinterred last Wednesday and brought to Remsen, where it now rests in the city cemetery. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, June 8, 1920
