Mrs. Barton Tone

Mrs. Barton Tone, 69, of Hawarden, died Friday (Jan. 7,1983), in Hawarden after a short illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Fredrich Mellberg will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Akron. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden.

Mrs. Tone, the former Dolpha "Dolly" Robertson, was born March 23, 1913, at Greenville, Ky. She came to Hawarden with her parents as a girl. She married Barton Tone Aug. 14, 1937, at Elk Point. He died Aug. 28, 1976. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Evert (Barbara) Falkena of North Platte, Neb.; her mother, Mrs. Dovye Robertson of Hawarden; one brother, Elton of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Doris) Wilkison of Lafayette, Ind., and Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Johnson of Hutchinson, Kan.; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
