Mrs. Grant Barr, 95, Akron, died Tuesday (September 11, 1973) at a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.

The funeral was at 10:30 a.m.-Thursday at the Schroeder funeral chapel, Akron, with the Rev. Durwood Clausen officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Barr, the former Laura Gelinas, was born December 31, 1877, at Springfield, Massachusetts. She was married December 25, 1894, at Akron. He died in 1958.

Survivors are four sons, Velton of Fresno, California, Bruce of Evanston, Illinois, Decelle of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Garvis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and a daughter, Mrs. Leonide Murray of Kenosha.
