Frank William Eden, 89, Akron, died Saturday, June 30,1973 at the Akron Hospital after a long illness.

The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 at the Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. Durwood Clausen officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Pall bearers were Marvin Hitzemann, Donald Wilier, Glen Milbrodt, Emil Willer, Charlie Boetger and Herman Renken.

Mr. Eden was born July 8, 1883, at Morrison, IL. He moved to Akron as a child and married Anna Fredrickson Feb. 14,1906, at Akron. They farmed in the Akron area, retiring to town in 1947.

Survivors are his wife and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives who came for the funeral of Frank Eden were Mr. and Mrs. Willie Eden and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Johnson, all of Huron, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klicker of Wolsey, S.D.; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eden of Alpena, S.D.
