John Francis Dennison, 76, of Westfield, died Nov. 13 at a Sioux City hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 15 in St Patrick Catholic Church in Akron with the Rev. Stanley Stone officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Dennison was born Feb. 14,1897 in Westfield. He farmed in that area. He married Neva Nason in 1924 in Sioux City. Mrs. Dennison died in 1968. He married Mrs. Gladys Ryan in 1972 in Akron. Mr. Dennison retired in 1962.

Survivors include the widow; sons, James of Akron, and Gerald of Westfield; daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Gasperino of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Betty Neal of Minneapolis; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gladine Kleinberg of Sioux City; stepsons, Daryl Ryan of Sioux City, and Donn Ryan of Westfield; 20 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brothers, Ray of Westfield, and Bill of Sioux City; a sister, Miss Helen Dennison of Sioux City.
