Mrs. Henry Warner, 96, Akron, died Aug. 8 at a Sioux City hospital after along illness.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10 in the Schroeder Funeral Home. The Rev. Douglas Oelke, pastor of the Hawarden Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron.

Pall bearers were Walter Young, Clayton Small, Clair McCorkell, Ellis Tucker, John Winquist and William Bohlen.

Mrs. Warner, was born Aug. 10,1876 at Oto. The former, Jessie Morris, she taught school before her marriage in 1898 at Onawa. They farmed near Akron most of their lives and Mrs. Warner served several years as president of the Plymouth County Farm Bureau. Mr. Warner died in 1942.

Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Percy Kistle of Le Mars; sister, Mrs. Cecil Hultsch of Los Angeles; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
