Mrs. John Bultman, 82, Akron, died Oct. 21 in an Akron hospital. The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 24 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at Akron. The Rev. Durwood Clauson officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Tom Bertram, Gerald Groon, William Meins, Harlan Bultman, Dennis Bultman and Dallas Huebner.

Mrs. Bultman, the former Hattie Van Wyhe, was born June 2, 1891, at Alton. She was married Jan. 28, 1914, at Ireton. They farmed in the Hawarden and Chatsworth areas until retiring and moving into Chatsworth in 1946. They moved to an Akron nursing home in 1965, where Mr. Bultman died in 1966.

Survivors include two sons, Gilbert of Ireton and John of Chatsworth; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Johanah) Huebner of Hawarden and Mrs. Donald Boetger of Akron; three brothers, William Van Wyhe of Hawarden and Peter and Bryan Van Wyhe, both of Ireton; 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
