Funeral services for Mrs. Anthony (Lillian) Gorney, age 77, of Akron were held Wednesday, August 30 at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Michael Strom officiating. Burial in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Ill., arrangements by Schroeder Funeral Home.

Bearers were Glen Milbrodt, Arliri Milbrodt, Gayland Small, Clayton Small, Clair McCorkell and John Daniels.

Mrs. Gorney was killed August 27, in a collision of the ambulance and a car, while she was being taken by ambulance to a Sioux City hospital.

She was born September 21, 1894 at Adaville. In 1942 she was married in Chicago to Mr. Gorney, he died in 1962. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Akron, Vesper Chapter, Order of the Easternn Star, Maywood White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 42, Elmhurst, Hoschler Post No. 186, American Legion Auxiliary of Akron.

Survivor is a nephew in California.
