William Kahl, twenty-four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kahl, died at the Sacred Heart hospital last Thursday afternoon. He is survived by his parents, three sisters and three brothers, who are Mrs. Frank Harvey, Mrs. Fritz Behrens, Hulda, Henry, Edward and Harvey, and a large number of other relatives. Funeral services were held Sunday at St. Paul’s church in Remsen and interment made in the Remsen cemetery. The pallbearers were close friends, Harm Seggerman, Henry Ericksen, Everett Groenhagen, Gilbert Rolling, Mathew Paskert and Harry Groepper. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, May 30, 1933, page 2.
