William E. Faust, age 73, Westfield, died at his home Monday, February 14, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were Thursday, February 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Akron, with Rev. Stanley R. Stone officiating. Pall bearers were Donald Kapfer,. Philip Beaubien, Leo Faust, Edward Faust, Eugene Welch and Tom Martin. Burial was in St Joseph Cemetery. Military graveside services by Hoschler Post No. 186, American Legion. Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Faust was born September 11,1898, at Akron. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired former farmer and trucker, retiring in 1950. He was a World War 2 veteran.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Kapfer and Mrs. Oscar Kapfer, both of Akron. Also several nieces and nephews.
