Funeral services for Raymond F. Gibbons, age 54, of Sioux City were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Akron, Rev. Eugene Murray officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The Rosary was recited Sunday night. Pall bearers were Ted Burnight, Terry Cries, Thomas Hughes and Ronald Everald, and Tony Paskert.

Mr. Gibbons died Friday at a Sioux City hospital.

Raymond Gibbons was born September 30, 1917, at Akron, Iowa. He had been a resident of Sioux City for many years, and he was a garage mechanic. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Thomas, of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Terry Land of Sioux City and Mrs. Ronald Maracco of Omaha; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Gibbons of Akron, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Paskert of Remsen, Iowa, and Mrs. Marcella Hawks of Westfield, Iowa.
