Mrs. Elmer Hoffman, 86, Green Acres Care Center, 3501 Dakota Ave., South Sioux City, died Sunday (Aug. 24, 1980) at the residence after a long illness.

Services were held Wednesday at Tatting-Methven Funeral Chapel at Hinckley, Minn. The Rev. Tim Diehl of the First Presbyterian church at Hinckley officiated. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery at Hinckley. The Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Hoffman, the former Mae Pearl Hauser, was born July 25, 1894, at Westfield, Iowa. She married Ernest Clark March 16, 1916. She married Elmer Hoffman September 15, 1965. Both are deceased.

She lived in the Westfield and Akron areas and at Hinckley before returning to Sioux City several years ago.

Survivors include four sons Leonard Clark of Cambridge, Minn., Donald Clark of White Bear Lake, Minn., Paul Clark of St. Paul, Minn, and Mac Gark of South St. Paul, Minn.; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

A memorial is being established in Mrs. Hoffman's name in care of Tatting Methven Funeral Chapel at Hinckley.
