Cecil J. Harris, age 69. died Wednesday October 20, at the Akron hospital after a sudden illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 22 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Stanley R. Stone officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were: Francis Gale, Elaine Ross, Earl Oetken, Andrew Brown, Jerome Schoenfelder and Fred McMillan.

Mr. Harris was born June 2, 1903, at Akron. He was a life long resident of Akron territory, farming near Akron, retiring to town in 1969.

Survivors are a brother, Virgil of Akron; a sister, Mrs. Berniece Synder of Akron and several nieces and nephews.
