Mrs. James Trautt, 84, lifelong Akron resident, died at her home Monday, October 11.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Akron, with Rev. Stanley R. Stone officiating. Pallbearers were: Conrad Heider, Timothy Blum, Steve Utech, Doug Utech, Eddie Utech and Richard Moon. Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral included Fay Trautt of Tucson, Arizona, and several from Sioux City and Yankton, S.D. Burial was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Akron, under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The former Anna G. Gleason, she was born July 5, 1887, in Plymouth County. She married Mr. Trautt October 6,1909, at Akron. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America; American Legion auxiliary and Catholic Woman's league. She served on the Akron library board for 45 years and taught school at Akron for a number of years.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Heider of Sioux City and Mrs. Francis Blum of Westfield; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
