Funeral services were held Monday, May 3 for Mrs. William D. Lammers, age 76, at Hartley, Iowa at St Paul's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Lammers died April 30 at the Hartley hospital.

Born Johanna Meinen June 9, 1894 I at Halsbeck, Germany, she came to the United States and to Akron in July 1922. She has resided in the Hartley-Everly, Iowa area since 1938. In November 1914 she was married to William Lammers in Germany. He died in 1964.

Survivors are a son, Walter at Everly; daughters Mrs. Jacob L. (Marian) Hofer, Freeman, S.D., and Mrs. Ralph (Irma) Ahrens, Sanborn, Iowa; two brothers in Germany; sisters, Mrs. Henry (Sophie) Blermann, Sioux City and two in Germany; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
