Funeral services for Harry Shaw, age 88, were held Tuesday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home, Rev. D. Roy officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Shaw died Saturday, January 9, at the Kingsley Nursing Home after a long illness.

Harry Shaw was born July 28,1882, at Kent, Washington. He married Mary David, July 1902 at Fremont, Nebr. She died in 1907. Mr. Shaw lived in the Akron area for 45 years, and made many friends in this community. There are no known survivors.
