Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, July 14, for Mrs. Peter (Minnie Mae) Parker at the Schroeder Funeral Home, Rev. James Sandvik officiated. Songs "Nearer My God To Thee" and "In The Garden" were sung by Mrs. Hugh Swift, accompanied by Mrs. Stuart Harris. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Vernon Anderson, Gary Parker, Ronald Parker, Gordon Parker, Russell Parker and Larry Parker.
Mrs. Parker died July 11 at the Akron hospital, after a long illness.
Mrs. Minnie Mae Parker was born February 20, 1883, in Plymouth County. She was married December 18, 1902, her husband died in 1933 in Akron. Mrs. Parker was a life-long resident of Plymouth County, and was a member of the lmmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her sons, Lester of Sioux City, Lone of Akron; two daughters, Mrs. George Anderson of Kingsley; Mrs. Pearl Asbury of Glendale, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
