Ida Almerta Munro

Mrs. Ida Almerta Lee Munro passed away at the Zimmerman Memorial home in Le Mars on October 20, 1952, 3:45 a. m. She was 79 years, 11 months and 19 days of age.

Ida Almerta Lee was born October 31, 1872, at Shamokin. Penn. She came to Plymouth County 59 years ago. She had been at the Zimmerman Memorial home since June 1, 1952. She was married to Wallace W. Munro in Le Mars. He preceded her in death many years ago.

Tentative funeral plans are for 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, October 22, 1952 at the Mauer funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Le Mars citv cemetery with Rev. Allen Bowe officiating. Mauer's funeral home will have charge of arrangements.

Survivors include 3 sons. Hugh Munro of Fresco. Calif.; Wallace G. Munro of Sioux City and Donald L. Munro of Evansville, Indiana. Six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Also surviving is an aunt, Mrs. Harry Hoyt, of Le Mars.
